Hello music fans! Today, Muzic Bank would like to introduce to you the recipe for perilla oil makguksu newly developed by BTS Jungkook. On July 31st, Jungkook uploaded new recipe on Weverse. This recipe, which Jungkook personally upgraded for his fans, offers a slightly different taste and aroma from the existing perilla oil makguksu.
What is Makguksu?
Perilla oil makguksu is one of the traditional Korean foods, and is a dish made by putting perilla oil in makguksu. Makguksu is thin buckwheat noodles rolled in a cold, sour broth. In Korea, cold noodle dishes are well-developed, and this dish is often eaten during the summer. Perilla oil makguksu is a dish that is made by mixing buckwheat noodles with savory perilla oil sauce instead of broth. Perilla oil has a scent and taste similar to sesame oil, but has a slightly thicker and stronger scent, adding a special taste to makguksu. Perilla oil makguksu is usually eaten cold and refrigerated, and it is popular on hot summer days because it has a refreshing taste.Â
Jungkook's special recipe
Jungkook, the beloved member of BTS, recently shared a delectable culinary creation with fans – a unique recipe for Perilla Oil Makguksu sauce. Crafting this savory sauce is a breeze; it entails combining 3 tablespoons of raw perilla oil, 2 tablespoons of sesame sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon each of hot chicken sauce and hot chicken mayo sauce, a single egg yolk, a pinch of black pepper, and a sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds. It’s a harmonious blend of flavors that, when mixed with boiled noodles, transforms into a special treat – Perilla Oil Buckwheat Noodles.Â
